Ds in the crowd?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Tai Chi (\u592a\u6975) for dummies&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">\u592a\u6975\u62f3\u662f\u4e2d\u83ef\u6c11\u65cf\u7279\u6709\u7684\u6b66\u5b78\u6587\u5316\uff0c\u66f4\u662f\u9053\u5bb6\u6027\u547d\u96d9\u4fee\u7684\u904b\u52d5\u4e4b\u5b78\u3002\u5b83\u7684\u7406\u8ad6\u4f9d\u64da\u53ef\u4ee5\u8ffd\u6eaf\u5230\u300a\u9053\u5fb7\u7d93\u300b\u300c\u9053\u751f\u4e00\uff0c\u4e00\u751f\u4e8c\uff0c\u4e8c\u751f\u4e09\uff0c\u4e09\u751f\u842c\u7269\uff0c\u842c\u7269\u8ca0\u9670\u800c\u62b1\u967d\uff0c\u6c96\u6c23\u4ee5\u70ba\u548c\u300d\u53ca\u300a\u6613\u7d93\u300b\u300c\u592a\u6975\u751f\u5169\u5100\uff0c\u5169\u5100\u751f\u56db\u8c61\uff0c\u56db\u8c61\u751f\u516b\u5366\u300d\u7684\u592a\u6975\u4e4b\u9053\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u592a\u6975\u62f3\u7684\u7406\u8ad6\u662f\u5b8c\u7f8e\u7121\u7f3a\u7684\uff0c\u662f\u4efb\u4f55\u4e00\u7a2e\u62f3\u8853\u7406\u8ad6\u90fd\u7121\u6cd5\u8207\u5176\u76f8\u6bd4\u64ec\u7684\uff0c\u8001\u5e7c\u7686\u5b9c\uff01\u592a\u6975\u62f3\u8b1b\u6c42\u548c\u8ae7\u8207\u5e73\u8861\uff0c\u91cd\u5167\u5916\u517c\u4fee\uff0c\u4ee5\u67d4\u514b\u525b\u3002\u6253\u592a\u6975\u7684\u904e\u7a0b\u4e2d\u6709\u5f88\u591a\u7368\u7acb\u7684\u52d5\u4f5c\uff0c\u5b83\u5c0d\u8abf\u89e3\u4eba\u7684\u5e73\u8861\u80fd\u529b\uff0c\u53ef\u8d77\u5230\u5f88\u597d\u7684\u4f5c\u7528\u3002\u540c\u6642\uff0c\u6253\u592a\u6975\u4e5f\u6709\u5229\u65bc\u5e73\u8861\u5167\u5206\u6ccc\uff0c\u5c0d\u98f2\u98df\u548c\u4f11\u606f\u4e5f\u90fd\u6703\u6709\u5f88\u5927\u7684\u5e6b\u52a9\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Tai Chi is an exercise practiced by the Chinese for centuries.&nbsp; Supposedly, it enhances our chi \u6c23, whatever it is, for body and soul (chi \u6c23 is not the same as the chi \u6975 in Tai Chi).&nbsp; I think Tai Chi is simply a form of motion meditation. A variety of Tai Chi forms have been developed through the years.&nbsp; Most of them are complicated and tedious. I have been in Tai Chi classes before but, so far, hardly learned anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"540\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 960 \/ 540;\" width=\"960\" controls src=\"https:\/\/fred.dannyshih.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/img_1499.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">In my recent cruise to China, a short version of the Tai Chi was taught onboard. The teacher is Master PW Kam, DDS.&nbsp; He is American-Chinese and a dental surgeon for 30 yrs in the USA.&nbsp; Now retired and a guest lecturer onboard teaching Tai Chi and Asian histories.&nbsp; Both courses are taught in English targeting us retirees onboard who are mostly old, dumb, totally unfit and very much uninterested. Nevertheless, the Tai Chi class was extremely effective and my wife and I learned the basics in only 6 x 45 min lectures.&nbsp; We continued practicing it at home and were able to somehow \u201cmaster\u201d the whole 14 Tai Chi moves.&nbsp; Proud of ourselves!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">I took a video on Kam\u2019s demonstration in class.&nbsp; This Tai Chi for dummies has 14 simple moves and takes only 3.59 min:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">1.
