Here are a few things to know if you have never subscribed to WordPress blogs before. Your email address will be used to create a WordPress.com account, so please choose one with which you’re comfortable doing that. After you subscribe, you will be sent an email with a link to confirm and manage your subscriptions. At this point, you can create a proper login (username and password) for your WordPress.com account.
Creating a login for your account is optional. However, note that even if you decide not to, you still have account! Without a username and password, the only way to “login” to manage your subscriptions is by using the link in the initial email. If you deleted that email, this is the link.
If you are already logged in to a WordPress.com account when you click the initial link, the subscription will be added to that account.
