Bonfire at the river levees in Xmas eve has been an off-and-on local tradition for years. We were there once about 40 years ago. This year is on especially big due to the pandemic; people have been cooped up all year and need some relief. We wish we could join the crowds but these days we can hardly drive. Now we can only watch it on TV and share the fun with photos with you.
Line up for half a mile along the levee.
A lot of work to build them and some in the form of float and cabin.
Wish we were there, must be fun!!
